This week sees the work in the first three phases of the Access Improvements move towards re-opening. From Saturday 25th July the Seldown Entrance from the town centre will re-open to vehicles providing access to Westfield car park. Not all of the work is complete and some local pedestrian diversions may still be in place, and things like signage, bollards and new lighting columns will all follow later on. The Kitchen and Scoops, Crazy Golf, Rockley watersports, and tennis courts are all accessible, please check with each organisation for details.

Around the 28th July the area around the water fountain should also open up for new parking areas to the public, and for the Bowls club. Work then starts to move eastwards along the drive, creating new crossing points at the Information kiosk and War Memorial, as well as resurfacing this stretch of road surface.

The public toilets on Westfield have been refurbished and are being finalised next week, hopefully re-opening on Thursday 30th July.
