We are entering a key phase of the Access improvement works in Poole Park. Next week (from 20th July) the tarmac surfacing will take place from the Seldown entrance through to the water fountain area and all of Westfield car park. This will allow public access again to these areas from 24th\u00a0<\/span>July or on the following day, Saturday 25th.<\/p>\n

Not all of the finished surface will be laid as some areas of tarmac will need to cure over a period of weeks before decorative surfacing is laid, but this will not prevent any access to the public. In addition some street furniture, lighting and other works will also follow once available and ready to go in all phases.<\/p>\n

Phase 3 around and beyond the water fountain is already progressing well and should then be re-opened the following week, 28th July, see latest photos below.<\/p>\n
