On Sunday afternoon after the travellers using Poole Park left the site, local people took it upon themselves to help clean the park up. Armed with their own bin bags and litter pickers they worked around the cricket pitch and surrounding area. We would like to say a massive thank you to all those who helped to get Poole Park tidied up and in good condition for park users Monday morning.

Since then the park clean up has continued and portaloos removed from site today, meaning things are returning to normal once more.

The temporary security measures are also being relaxed to let park users in to through the East Gate and Whitecliff entrances once more.

Facilities Update: From this weekend the following facilities will be re-opening, this is in addition to the Tennis courts that have been open for a while:

The Model yacht club, Bowls and cricket all have their own arrangements within their clubs and you should contact them directly for details. We are working with the Crazy Golf concession to understand when that can re-open.

The Westfield toilets remain closed whilst the access in front of them is improved and final refurbishment works inside take place. The public toilets in The Ark will be available during opening hours.

Please ensure you follow all covid-19 protocols and government guidance whilst using any of the park facilities.
