What information is being collected?
When you visit our website we automatically collect statistical data that will include your IP address, your operating system, your browser ID and your browsing activity. We collect this information through the use of Google Analytics, a free web analytics service that tracks and reports website traffic. The information collected does not relate to you as an individual and is collected to provide us with an understanding of the areas of most interest on our site.
Who is collecting the information?
Borough of Poole is the owner of the information collected, whether that is during your visit to the website or when you telephone or email the contact numbers or email addresses provided.

How will it be used?
The information will be used solely for the purposes it has been collected and/or provided. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
We do not tolerate spam; we will never send you unsolicited email nor will we sell, share or rent any part of your personal information with any third party unless required to do so by law or where in good faith we believe such action is necessary to comply with a legal process.
