We wanted to share a quick well done and congratulations to the volunteers and staff of Arts University Bournemouth who last Saturday (19th January) planted 1,000 trees at Upton Country Park! Despite rain and cold weather, around 50 volunteers came out to take part. Below is what the Arts University shared to and about these amazing student volunteers:

We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who braved the rain on Saturday to plant some trees at Upton Country Park. Because of you, there are now hundreds more trees in our local area! Once our trees grow big and strong, they’ll serve as natural wildlife corridors for the local birds and animals. (It was at Upton Country Park on Saturday and the trees were bought from the Woodland Trust)

We were happy to support the university providing some promotion and tools for the event, and we hope to be working closer with them moving forward!
