In July 2012 park users were consulted on a potential improvement scheme for Hamworthy Park.

Some ‘quick-wins’ were implemented, such as new gates to the play area. However, at the time there was no clear consensus on what should be delivered elsewhere in the park.

A further period of public consultation was recommended but this has yet to take place as open space improvements across the Borough have to be prioritised with officer workload. At present there is no timetable for this work to be re-visited.
