Hamworthy Skate Park Turlin Moor Recreation Ground

Last updated: 23rd December 2013

This is a project that is being driven by a local community group Hamworthy Skate Park which aims to construct a concrete bowl-style skate park on the corner of Turlin Moor Recreation Ground, Blandford Road, and install floodlights (to be used until 9pm during winter months)

The Planning Application made in February was approved in April 2013. Relevant plans and documentation can be viewed at boroughofpoole.com. The group are now looking to at the next stages to secure external funding and take the project forward.

The group requires a lease of the land from the Borough of Poole to build the Skate Park and so the Borough will shortly be advertising the disposal of open space for this purpose.
